WLIP establishes water stations in communities which provide safe water to the community and other neighbouring areas of the plant location. The station provides very high quality water at a price that is affordable to all. One of the key elements is providing superior service and quality checks to ensure that the quality of water is consistent throughout the life of the project.

WLIP provides total solutions to the drinking water problems and also takes up operation and maintenance o f these plants for an extended period through a unique business model which makes the entire project sustainable.
Whenever feasible WLIP involves and encourage local entrepreneurs and/or SHGs to deliver the water within reasonable distance at an extra nominal cost.

WLIP provides community water systems to the following water related contaminants:

• Microbiological contamination
• High Total Dissolved Solids (TDS)
• Other chemical contaminants like pesticides
• High Iron
• Fluoride affected areas
• Arsenic Contamination
